Vintage baseball poster
Select spreads from a book I wrote, photographed, and designed.
The story is very personal - about my brother’s life unraveling when a crippling disease tore away his dreams of becoming a major league baseball player. The story has a happy ending, but the baseball represents the way his life fell apart at that time.
An Appropriation piece of Daude’s “Pianos,” a French vintage poster from 1926. I took a modern day event and combined it with the vintage look of the poster, giving it a more updated edge.
